I need a laptop battery ulgently!! I got a battery with 2 years and it failed about several days ago. I want to carry a laptop around all day, using it most of the day, which means that i need a "super" battery with longer run time.

Replacement batteries are pretty expensive across the board but where is the most reputable site to buy from? My friend have recommend me a website , it seems perfect due to the reasonale price and longer warranty(60 days money back, 2 years warranty) at first glance.  However, it is a shop located on China and i don't want to get screwed with some crappy Chinese knock off battery that doesn't hold a charge for longer than one hour or less. I can't be rest assured to buy something there. Anyother advice to buy such batteries on a reputable shop based on USA?

All the advices will be welcome here.

The aftermarket laptop battery business is iffy. There are many sites that sell China-made batteries that just don't last... Sometimes not even working at all. I do not want to recommend any particular supplier. The best thing to do, is to hunt down some user reviews of several different battery suppliers.

Keep in mind, other people's experiences may not be a concrete gauge of the experience you end up having.

Some quick examples of sites that I have seen good reviews for are;

Laptop Battery Express looks like a promising supplier, judging by the thoroughness and all their site has to offer.

I myself have never dealt with any American-based laptop battery suppliers. In fact, it has been a long time since I've purchased a laptop battery. I have spent a few hundred on replacement batteries for my ASUS N61jq, all of them failing.

I have determined the cause for no replacement batteries to be working for this particular laptop, is either the ACPI or a manufacturing error on ASUS' end.

So I've just dedicated this laptop as my bed-side, always plugged in, lay-in-bed-computing machine.

I am not recommending any suppliers, just giving some options that look to be legitimate, better quality dealers.

Good luck and feel free to report your experience with whomever you choose.
